Cesare leads the global Portfolio Value Creation team. He works with portfolio companies to achieve full value potential across private equity, infrastructure, sustainable energies and real estate investments. He serves on the Private Equity Investment Committee, and previously served Real Assets Investment Committee. He currently serves on the boards of Informatica, Ports America Inc, and Mytheresa. He previously served on the board of Neiman Marcus Group.

Prior to joining CPP Investments in 2014, Cesare was a management consultant with Boston Consulting Group in Toronto, where he advised clients in consumer, technology, life sciences and industrial goods sectors. Before that, he was with Capgemini Consulting in the Los Angeles and Shanghai offices, and was co-chair of the global M&A practice. Cesare has also held roles with Motorola, an investment advisory firm in China, and the Canadian Embassy in Beijing.

He holds a Hons. BA (High Distinction) in International Relations from the University of Toronto.
